
Russian occupying forces shelled Kherson on the morning of Saturday. On February 8, around 6:30, the enemy attacked the residential areas of the city.
As a result of the shelling, three people were injured, including an 11-year-old boy. This was reported by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko.
Women aged 32 and 57 suffered concussions, mine-blast injuries, and closed head injuries. The child has similar injuries as well as an acute stress reaction. All the injured were taken to the hospital, where they are receiving necessary assistance.
Several houses were damaged as a result of the shelling, one of which caught fire. Rescuers and an emergency response team from the Kherson City Military Administration quickly arrived at the scene. They organized the elimination of the aftermath of the strike and provided necessary assistance to the victims.
"Instead of an alarm clock - enemy multiple rocket launchers. The Saturday morning turned out to be unfavorable for the people of Kherson. The rashists struck at 6:30 at residential areas. Several houses were damaged, one caught fire. Three injured, including an 11-year-old boy," Mrochko noted.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the war crime (part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors, along with investigators, continue to actively document the war crimes committed by the occupiers.
