The Russian Federation launched 133 "Shahed" type drones at Ukraine, air defence shot down 73
On the night of February 14, the Russian army launched 133 Shahed-type drones over the territory of Ukraine. Air defence forces were active in 11 regions of the country.
This was reported by the Air Forces.
On the night of February 14, 2025, from 19:30 on February 13, the enemy launched an attack using 133 strike drones of the Shahed type and various other decoy drones.
They were launched from the directions of:
- Millerovo;
- Kursk;
- Bryansk;
- Shatalovo;
- Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
To counter the air attack, aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Ukrainian Defence Forces were involved.
As of 08:30, the downing of 73 strike drones of the Shahed type and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles were confirmed in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.
Additionally, 58 enemy decoy drones were locationally lost without negative consequences.
As a result of the enemy attack, the Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Odesa, and Kharkiv regions were affected.
