The bodies of 757 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine

As part of the repatriation measures on Friday, February 14, Ukraine returned the bodies of 757 fallen defenders.

This is informed by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

"On the shield," it was possible to return the fallen defenders from:

• Kurakhove direction;
• Pokrovsk direction;
• Bakhmut direction;
• Vuhledar direction;
• Luhansk direction;
• Zaporizhzhya direction;
• from morgues in the territory of the Russian Federation.

The fallen defenders were returned as a result of the joint activities of the employees of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the Central Civil-Military Cooperation Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Joint Center of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Office of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, the Secretariat of the Commissioner for Missing Persons under Special Circumstances, the State Emergency Service, and other structures of the security and defence sector of Ukraine.

The Coordination Headquarters expressed gratitude for the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

"The identities of the deceased will be established as soon as possible by law enforcement investigators in collaboration with the expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs," the statement reads.
