
On the night of February 16, Russian occupiers attacked Mykolaiv with "Shahed" type strike drones. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out and at least one person was injured.
This was reported by Telegram of the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, and the channel of the city’s mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych.
"As a result of the ’Shahed’ attack in Mykolaiv, a fire broke out, and a store was damaged. Currently, there is information about one injured person. All services are working," the report noted at 02:14.
A few minutes later, Senkevych reported that municipal services had begun inspecting the area to document and eliminate the consequences of the attack.
"All details will follow," he added.
It is worth noting that in the last approximately two hours, explosions have been heard several times in Mykolaiv against the background of the drone attack. In particular, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded drones over the city.
