In the Kursk region, the Defence Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian army armored column that launched an assault with Soviet Union red flags. The events took place near the village of Nikolskoye.
This was reported with a reference to a video by the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade in Telegram.
It is worth noting that this morning enemy publics reported that Russian marines from the 155th brigade attempted to storm Ukrainian positions near the village of Nikolskoye in the Kursk region. Moreover, Russian equipment was adorned with "red flags" of the USSR, and the enemy moved "as if in a parade."
Soon, video confirmations of the offensive with over a dozen tanks and about a company of Russians appeared on social media. The footage clearly captured how Ukrainian soldiers were destroying the enemy attempting to advance. In particular, our defenders used drones to halt the enemy armored column, and a minefield also "didn’t bother" the Russians.
"Neither the minefield nor the swarm of Ukrainian drones of the 47th ’Magura’ brigade discouraged the enemies. Not only the tanks were suddenly exhausted by our ’birds’. One of the tankers decided to ’rest’ by the damaged vehicle - and our FPV battalion of the BBC helped him finally rest," the brigade noted.
