The occupiers shelled Marhanets: extensive damage, there are wounded
Russian occupiers carried out an artillery shelling of Marhanets in the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the enemy attack, a fire broke out in the city, with damage and destruction to many buildings recorded, and there are also casualties.
This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak.
The official noted this morning that the Russian army had been shelling the city with artillery since the evening of February 16.
"Four people were injured: a 64-year-old woman and men aged 22, 26, and 54. One of the injured was hospitalized in a moderate condition," informed the head of the Regional Military Administration (RMA).
In Marhanets, due to Russian shelling, a fire also occurred, which was quickly extinguished. As reported by the head of the RMA, the Russian attack damaged in Marhanets:
- an educational institution,
- an administrative building,
- industrial and municipal enterprises,
- 8 shops,
- a cafe,
- a legal center,
- 8 apartment buildings were damaged,
- 4 private houses were also damaged,
- a utility building, a garage, and a car were damaged,
- a power line was affected.
"The occupiers also shot at the villages in the Marhanets and Myrove communities. There were no deaths or injuries there," added the official.
Additionally, he published photos online showing the consequences of the Russian terrorists’ strikes on Marhanets.
