At the border with Hungary, antique items were discovered in the car of an elderly Ukrainian woman.

At the "Tysa" checkpoint, border guards prevented an attempt to illegally transport printed materials and kitchenware across the state border, which likely have cultural and historical value. They were discovered in the luggage of a 65-year-old Ukrainian citizen who was leaving Ukraine in her own car.
During the inspection of the trunk, the inspection team found books from 1887 and 1937, a magazine subscription from 1911, and a samovar dated 1898.
"The books, magazines, and samovar were confiscated by customs officials in accordance with established legal procedures. The historical and cultural value of the items will be determined by an appropriate expert," the report states.
