In Mykolaiv, after a heavy drone strike, heating supply was restored
Specialists have connected all residents of Mykolaiv to the heating system. They were left without heat supply due to a recent shelling by Russia.
This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, during a broadcast on the national telethon.
"In Mykolaiv, all subscribers who were left without heat as a result of yesterday’s shelling are now connected. The network temperature has not yet reached the optimal level, but it will stabilize within a day," Kim said.
Kim clarified that the repairs began from the first minute after the shelling, all services united, and everything was done properly.
"There were two forecasts: the pessimistic one suggested it would take 3-4 days, but we managed according to the optimistic one—all was connected overnight. Now everything is working, everything is fine, everyone did a great job," he noted.
It is worth recalling that on the night of February 16, the Russians attacked Mykolaiv with drones. Explosions were heard in the city around one o’clock in the morning. Later, it was revealed that a Russian drone attacked a critical infrastructure facility. A fire broke out there, which firefighters promptly extinguished.
As a result of the drone strike, a man born in 1960 was injured and hospitalized. Part of Mykolaiv was left without heat due to the occupiers’ attack.
