Budanov: In Ukraine, the hostilities will cease this year

This was stated by the Head of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with Azerbaijani journalist Eynulla Fatullayev.

«I think that this year we will come to a ceasefire. How long and effective it will be is another matter. But I think it will happen. There are most of the components for it,» the Head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine stated.

Previously, Zelenskyy repeatedly stated that he supports a ceasefire only if Ukraine receives security guarantees.
