The Ukrainian army has prepared for the shutdown of Starlink: Alternative communication channels are already operating

In response to a possible shutdown of Starlink in Ukraine, Ukrainian military personnel are confident that communication on the front lines will remain stable.

Experts state that alternative communication channels, including radio links, fiber-optic lines, and LTE modems, have been developed since the beginning of the war.

As specialists explain, Starlink is primarily important for pilots and UAV targeting; however, in case of its shutdown, communication will not cease, as other systems are already operational. Additionally, a secure internet system is successfully functioning on the front line, which allows for connecting drones and adapting SIM cards to mobile stations.

At this moment, according to information from the CCD, Starlink in Ukraine has not been shut down.
