The theft of grain amounting to 23 million hryvnias: the case has been sent to court
The SAPO has sent an indictment to court regarding the former director of a state enterprise, who in 2018, together with the director of a private company, misappropriated 5,000 tons of state-owned grain.
To cover up the scheme, they drew up fictitious storage contracts, after which the wheat was resold.
The former director is accused under Part 5 of Article 191 and Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. His accomplice is wanted, and the materials regarding him have been allocated to a separate proceeding.
