The "Ukroboronprom" concern has signed an agreement for joint production of armored vehicles with the Canadian company Roshel, which will significantly accelerate the delivery of this equipment to the front line. This was reported on the company’s Telegram channel.
"The Joint Stock Company ’Ukrainian Defence Industry’ has signed an agreement to establish joint production of Roshel armored vehicles. The Ukrainian enterprise will receive all necessary technical documentation and component materials for manufacturing the vehicles," the statement said.
It is noted that Roshel armored vehicles are already actively used by Ukrainian military forces, and localizing production will not only speed up deliveries but also strengthen Ukraine’s economy and provide access to advanced Western technologies.![]()

In addition, "Ukroboronprom" continues to develop its own armored vehicles and tanks. The combination of Western and Ukrainian technologies is set to become the foundation for strengthening Ukraine’s defence capabilities.
"At the same time, this will strengthen Ukraine’s economy and provide Ukrainian manufacturers with access to technologies. Thus, Ukraine’s defence industry is gradually integrating into the defence-industrial base of the free world countries," noted the Minister for Strategic Industries, Herman Smetanin.
