Ukrainians who are in other countries will be able to receive a deferral from mobilization with subsequent employment in Ukraine at special foreign centers.
This was announced by the Minister of National Unity Oleksiy Chernyshov at the event "War 2025: Weapons, People, Money" organized by UP.
According to him, in countries with the largest number of Ukrainians, so-called Unity Hubs are being created—centers that will provide the opportunity to involve citizens in the labor market in Ukraine from abroad in the future.
"Our task is to ensure that when a person crosses the border, they already have a status that prevents them from being mobilized between the border and the factory," he said, commenting on the issue of reserving Ukrainians from abroad who may be attracted to work in the defence industry.
These foreign centers will be created precisely for this purpose. They will offer Ukrainians a certain range of services, including employment and reservation, if applicable.
At the same time, Chernyshov added that any Ukrainian can obtain a deferral from mobilization if it is provided for in a certain field of employment.
