Ukrainian "Trembita" is 10 times cheaper than rockets for HIMARS
The Ukrainian rocket "Trembita" costs 10-15 thousand dollars, whereas rockets for the American HIMARS MLRS cost 160-180 thousand dollars.
The deputy general director of a company manufacturing electronic warfare equipment, former Air Force officer Anatoliy Khrapchynskyi, explained this price difference on Ukrainian Radio.
"In fact, some of our developments are dozens of times cheaper. This is not because they (the developers - UNIAN) use something cheaper. Indeed, most of our engineers, companies currently engaged in the creation of modern unmanned systems, ground robotic complexes, electronic reconnaissance, and electronic warfare systems, invest their own resources, own developments, and own ideas, for which engineers do not charge," emphasized the expert.
At the same time, as Khrapchynskyi added, in most European and American developments, a large number of scientists invest their knowledge, and this is "evaluated in money."
"Now we are talking about volunteering in the production and creation of modern types of weaponry. And this helps us significantly target important objectives on the territory of the Russian Federation... There is potential here, and I constantly emphasize that this war will be won by the military, volunteers, and engineers," stressed the expert.
