The Ministry of Defense has officially appointed Arsen Zhumadilov as the director of the Defence Procurement Agency.
Recall that in January a scandal arose around Zhumadilov and the Defence Procurement Agency. Defence Minister Umyerov announced his appointment to the position of head of the Agency instead of Maryna Bezrukova, but the situation quickly turned into a misunderstanding: in the registries, the heads changed three times a week, which attracted the attention of NATO and the G7 ambassadors.
Later, Zhumadilov himself noted that almost 50% of the goods in the supply plan submitted by the Agency to the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff never reached the front.
