
According to a survey conducted by the independent organization More in Common in the UK, France, Germany, and Poland, the majority of citizens in these countries believe that Russia may attack other European countries in the coming years, aside from Ukraine.
60% of the French, 68% of the British and Poles, and 53% of Germans consider a Russian invasion of Europe likely in the near future. In response to the question about continuing support for Ukraine, despite a possible withdrawal of US assistance, the majority of respondents also expressed support for continuing to assist Ukraine. 66% of the British and Poles, 57% of the French, and 54% of Germans support this initiative.
Regarding the idea of a peacekeeping operation by European countries after a possible ceasefire or peace agreement, opinions were divided. 57% of the British support such an initiative, while in other countries support is significantly lower: 44% in France, 41% in Germany, and only 27% in Poland.
