Zelenskyy discussed with the Saudi Arabian prince steps towards ending the war

This was reported with reference to the post of the president on his official Telegram channel.

"I discussed in great detail with Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud the steps and conditions that can end the war and make peace reliable and lasting. I particularly emphasized the issue of releasing prisoners and returning children, which can become one of the key measures for establishing trust in diplomatic efforts. A significant portion of the conversation was devoted to formats of security guarantees," the statement reads.

Zelenskyy informed that the parties discussed all the main issues on the agenda - both bilateral and with other partners. The President emphasized that Saudi Arabia provides a very important platform for diplomacy.

He also added that the Ukrainian team remains in Jeddah to work with the American team. The meeting will take place today, March 11.

"We hope for a practical result. The Ukrainian position at the meeting will be absolutely constructive," the president noted.

In addition, the head of the Ukrainian state wrote that it was important for Ukraine to hear words of confidence in the future of our state from the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Our country is also ready to cooperate.

"Grateful for the wise view of the international situation and for the support of Ukraine. It was very important to hear words of confidence in the Ukrainian future... The Crown Prince spoke about an ambitious economic strategy of Saudi Arabia, and we wish our partners success. Ready to cooperate. Confident that the interaction between our countries and regions strengthens both our peoples and the whole world," Zelenskyy concluded.
