President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the developments in the Kursk region, where the Russian army is advancing actively.

«Our troops in the Kursk region continue to carry out their tasks. Russia is exerting pressure, but our command is doing everything necessary, maximizing the preservation of the soldiers’ lives,» Zelenskyy stated.

According to him, the Ukrainian military is acting according to the assigned tasks, and the command is taking all measures for effective defense.
