MP Fediyenko: Illegally mobilized individuals are not exempt from service under the new law

The new accountability law for military recruitment centers does not exempt those illegally mobilized from military service, reports Deputy Fediyenko.

He emphasizes that responsibility for military commissars and employees of the medical examination commissions already existed, and the Criminal Code was only adjusted in accordance with the latest legislative changes.

"The problem is that even if a serviceman was illegally mobilized, he still continues to serve. Until a court verdict is rendered against the officials, they will not be found guilty. Alternatively, the serviceman can file a lawsuit in administrative court and challenge the illegal actions of the recruitment center regarding his illegal mobilization, and only after a court decision is made and comes into effect can such an individual be demobilized," Fediyenko writes.

Considering that criminal cases against military commissars can last for years, leaving service during this period, as it turns out, is impossible.
