On the Kursk direction, paratroopers captured 8 prisoners

Ukrainian paratroopers captured a group of Russian army servicemen on the Kursk direction. The captives are now awaiting exchange.

This is reported by  the Command of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A group of 8 Russian military personnel was captured by the paratroopers and their allies on the Kursk direction.

"The captives were provided with timely medical and psychological assistance. In their units on the territory of the Russian Federation, they were subjected to inhumane treatment, torture, and executions for not following criminal orders," reported the Ukrainian military.

The paratroopers emphasized that these Russian military personnel chose life over death on the battlefield.

"The prisoners of war are treated well, they are safe and are likely awaiting exchange. We urge all servicemen of the Russian army: surrender," added the military.
