The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation completely destroyed the oil refinery in the Kharkiv region
On March 17, enemy drones attacked the oil refinery in the city of Merefa.
This was reported by the Telegram channel "Kharkiv 1654".
According to the channel, the Kharkiv investment and industrial group AES Group clarified that their facility - the oil refinery in Merefa - was the target of enemy drone attacks last night.
"The attack lasted for two hours. This is already the fourth attack on the plant since February 2022, and until yesterday there was only 10 percent of the capacity left," the message states.
The firefighting lasted all night, and explosive experts are still working at the site. At the moment, the facility is completely destroyed.
"In essence, this is the beginning of bankruptcy proceedings, the fourth attack on the company proved decisive; there remains hope for international courts, which we have little faith in, given the current geopolitical situation in the world," commented AES group.
