
President Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to the American leader for the continuous support of humanitarian issues.
During a phone conversation between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the return of children who were illegally taken to the Russian Federation was discussed.
This was reported at a briefing on Wednesday, March 19, by White House representative Caroline Leavitt.
"President Trump also asked President Zelenskyy about the children who have gone missing in Ukraine during the war, including those who were abducted, and promised to make every effort for close cooperation between both sides to ensure the return of these children home," she noted.
According to Caroline Leavitt, President Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to President Trump for support of humanitarian issues, including the exchange of prisoners of war.
