Despite the shelling, families with children continue to return to the Pokrovsk community

Despite constant shelling, families with children continue to return to the Pokrovsk community. Nine such cases have already been recorded.

This was reported by the head of the Pokrovsk Military-Civil Administration, Serhiy Dobryak, on live broadcast.

«This is the ninth case where families with children return to the community or to the city of Pokrovsk to check their houses or apartments, and at that moment, a tragedy occurs – minors sustain injuries. Therefore, I urge parents: if you decide to come to check your property, do not bring children with you», — Dobryak emphasized.

According to him, before the start of the mandatory evacuation, there were 3,800 children in Pokrovsk, but all were successfully moved to safe zones.

Currently, there are 2,489 people in the community.
