Russian troops are attempting to improve their positions in the area of the settlement of Dvorichna in the Kupyansk direction of the Kharkiv region.

This was stated in a TV broadcast by the spokesman for the operational-tactical group "Kharkiv," Pavlo Shamshyn.

"Unfortunately, there is no flood. Regarding crossing the Oskil River. They (the Russian occupiers - ed.) are trying to improve their positions in the area of Dvorichna. This usually happens with the help of a rope and an inflatable boat. They throw a rope from one bank to the other, and in this way, usually a group of two or three infantrymen sits in the boat, which is pulled with the help of the rope from the left bank to the right," Shamshyn explained.

According to the spokesman, when the occupiers cross the river in the boat from one bank to the other, another enemy group pulls the boat back with the help of a rope.

"Undoubtedly, our aerial reconnaissance tries to monitor such actions. And when we manage to spot such movements in time, many Russians do not make it to the other bank," he noted.
