Zelenskyy rejected the idea of introducing UN-led peacekeepers into Ukraine

Zelenskyy expressed negative views on the proposal to establish a peacekeeping mission for Ukraine led by the UN, which, according to media reports, was suggested by France.

The President of Ukraine noted that the UN "will not be able to protect us," and therefore cannot serve as a substitute for security measures or peacekeeping forces.

"The UN will not receive a mandate to protect Ukraine in case of another attack by Russia," the president noted.
