Budanov personally supports the military on the front lines: "He is a real man," - soldier

General Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, often visits combat positions to personally assess the situation and support the military personnel.

"He is a real man, and his deputies are the same. They come to combat positions where the war is ongoing. He can come to Snake Island, swim with the guys in the sea, change clothes, and move on," the soldier noted.

The special forces officer shared his encounter with Budanov at the front. According to him, no one was warned about the arrival of the leadership, and no additional security measures were taken in advance. "There, where ’Grads’ are constantly operating and where there are constant shellings," he shared.

"A friend shared his impressions with me. He says, ’I’m sitting in the bunker. I hear: ’Hello, guys.’ I extend my hand to them, raise my eyes - and it’s Kyrylo Oleksiyovych. Everything is fine, we went down, had a talk," the intelligence officer recounted.

According to "Donbas," such meetings boost the morale of the military personnel.

"You see a person who tomorrow, if something goes wrong, will sit with you in the trench and, despite his general’s epaulettes, will smoke the same cigarette and pick up a rifle along with you," said the special forces officer.
