The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has notified Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov of suspicion in absentia, who recently called for the use of nuclear weapons against Ukraine.
According to case materials, Solovyov is part of the media pool of Russian President Vladimir Putin and is one of the main mouthpieces of Kremlin propaganda. In his recent public appearances, he has repeatedly called for the escalation of the conflict, including proposing the seizure of four regions in the south and east of Ukraine. Additionally, he has called for the destruction of civil infrastructure and civilians in Ukraine.
The SSU notes that Solovyov’s activities are aimed at inciting enmity, destabilizing the situation in Ukraine, and harming the country’s national security. Further investigation is being conducted concerning propaganda activities and calls for violent actions.
