They report a major malfunction in the Moscow metro app: "Ukrzaliznytsia" has "addressed" the passengers
After a massive cyberattack on the online infrastructure of "Ukrzaliznytsia," a malfunction occurred in the Moscow metro application. It is not possible to top up the travel card, access the service, and an announcement about the non-operational Ukrainian railway appeared on the Mosmetro website.
According to online trackers, the problems began around 6:00 AM, and since then, the number of issues has exceeded 500. Passengers cannot top up the "Troika" card, which is used for public transport in Moscow, view the map, or pay for travel.

Russian media report that payments through machines and validators in buses are also not going through. Meanwhile, the Mosmetro press service claims that payments via machines are currently operating in a normal mode.

Despite the personal experiences of "Troika" users who cannot use the online service, the Moscow Transport Department claims that the issues are temporary. They are related to technical work in the personal account of the application. It is reported that the "Troika" card can be topped up at ticket offices and terminals at metro stations, and travel can also be paid using a bank card and a "Unified" ticket.
