On March 31, Sweden announced its largest military aid package for Ukraine, amounting to 16 billion kronor ($1.6 billion).
As reported by Reuters, Swedish Defence Minister Pål Jonson announced this.
He explained that a significant portion of the aid package, 9.2 billion kronor, will be allocated for military equipment, which Stockholm will acquire under the direction of the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration.
At the same time, the Swedish government had previously announced an increase in military aid to Kyiv. Specifically, this year, the state decided to increase the relevant funding from 25 billion to 40 billion kronor (almost $4 billion).
