Men over 50 may be assigned to construction battalions, - TRC

A statement on this matter was made at the Zaporizhzhya TRC.

Let us recall that previously their mobilization was restricted.

The deputy head of the Zaporizhzhya TRC for mobilization and defense activities reported that men over 50 years old or those deemed fit only for rear service due to their health condition can be involved in the construction of defensive structures, as well as work as drivers, crane operators, or operators.

Let us recall that previously a directive was introduced according to which men over 50 could only be drafted under special mobilization orders and only those who have scarce military specialties.

Thus, it is now claimed that men of this age can be mobilized not only for scarce specialties but also into the "construction battalion," where no special qualifications are required.
