Mopeds and motorcycles were allowed to use the public transport lane

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allowed mopeds and motorcycles to travel in the public transport lane. The corresponding changes to the Traffic Rules were adopted by a government decision.

This was reported by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnichuk.

However, the innovation does not apply to motorcycles with sidecars, motorized wheelchairs, and three-wheeled vehicles.

This decision aims to improve the mobility of motorcyclists in urban conditions and to relieve other lanes of traffic.
