The occupiers threaten to block numbers for those who do not update their passport data

"Mobile numbers of people who have replaced a foreign passport with a Russian one may be blocked if the data is not updated by July 1, 2025."

This was reported by the so-called "Ministry of Digital Development of the LPR" on social media on March 30. 

The occupiers explain these sanctions against subscribers by "changes" in the telecommunications law they adopted.
