Trade War: Trump criticizes China’s 34% tariffs as a "mistake"

Trump called China’s retaliatory tariffs on the US a "mistaken" move.

"China acted wrongly, they showed panic — and that’s the one thing they can’t afford!" wrote the US president on his social media.

Recall that Beijing responded to US tariffs by implementing its own at a rate of 34% — the same as Trump set yesterday, in addition to the 20% introduced earlier.
