
On the night of April 5th, in Kryvyi Rih, emergency rescue operations were completed after a massive missile strike by Russia.
This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
According to updated data, 18 people were killed in the shelling, and another 61 were injured. Among the dead are 9 children. One of the most tragic stories is the death of 3-year-old Tymofii, who received fatal injuries near a playground.
Additionally, one woman was killed in a drone attack, and seven more people were injured.
The occupiers struck residential infrastructure: more than 40 apartment buildings, medical and educational institutions, a kindergarten, transport, and energy facilities were damaged.
Local authorities organized assistance for the victims: humanitarian support points are operating, and psychological and medical assistance is provided. People who are left homeless are temporarily placed in communal institutions.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and promised that all those responsible for the terrorist attacks would definitely be held accountable.

"Children, families, the elderly... Strikes with ballistics and drones on residential areas and playgrounds… This is nothing but mass murder of the civilian population. We will always remember each of the deceased. This is our common tragedy and pain... Condolences to the relatives and loved ones of each... And as for the occupiers – burn in hell, monsters! We will never forgive," wrote the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defence Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
