During the night and morning, Russian military shelled Sumy region 53 times, affecting 10 communities under enemy fire.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration in Telegram.
“During the night and morning, Russians conducted 53 shellings of the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. A total of 68 explosions were recorded,” the report states.
It is noted that the Yunakivska, Myropilska, Bilopilska, Krasnopilska, Velykopysarivska, Hlukhivska, Shalyhynska, Chernechchynska, Khutir-Mykhailivska, and Seredyno-Budska communities came under fire.
The enemy attacked Krasnopilska, Seredyno-Budska, Hlukhivska, Yunakivska, Khutir Mykhailivska, as well as the Velykopysarivska and Myropilska communities with strike drones.
In addition, the Russian army shelled the Krasnopilska community with mortars and struck with GABs, dropped VOGs from a drone on the Bilopilska and Shalyhynska communities, and struck the Yunakivska with artillery.
In the Myropilska community, the enemy conducted two airstrikes using GABs, and a UAV strike caused a fire in the Chernechchynska territory.
