Trade war: some goods from Ukrainian entrepreneurs will be exempt from customs duties

"Ukrposhta" reports that goods from Ukraine valued at up to 800 dollars will not yet be subject to additional tariffs of 10% imposed by Trump.

This applies to postal parcels.

«A minimum tariff of 10% will be imposed on all imports to the USA. However, the duty-free import threshold of 800 US dollars (de minimis) will remain in place until the Secretary of Commerce determines that a functional system for recording and collecting duties on these goods has been implemented. Thus, no duties need to be paid on goods valued at less than 800 US dollars», the company informs.
