Tkachenko dismissed Povoroznyk from the position of First Deputy Head of the KCMA

Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko dismissed Mykola Povoroznyk from the position of First Deputy Head of the KCMA. However, Povoroznyk remains the Deputy Mayor of Vitaliy Klychko.

This was reported by Tkachenko himself.

"I made a decision regarding Mykola Povoroznyk. From this day on, he will no longer perform the duties of the First Deputy Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Tkachenko justified his decision by stating that Povoroznyk repeatedly ignored his instructions.

"Specifically, he ignored the instruction to provide a report on the issuance and accounting of permits for movement during curfew hours. Moreover, the First Deputy, who is in charge of the apparatus of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), constantly creates unfavorable conditions for the KCMA’s work. Draft orders are delayed. Honest entrepreneurs and many companies cannot obtain critical importance status because documents in the KCSA are delayed for a month or more instead of 10 days. Officials have built the system in such a way that it is practically impossible," Tkachenko emphasized.

He accused KCSA officials of deliberately creating obstacles for KCMA’s work.

"And most importantly. Mr. Povoroznyk is responsible for the budget area in the KCSA. Over 100 reports of procurement violations from the BES just in 2024, 8 billion UAH - this is his responsibility. Nearly 60 million UAH stolen in services for seriously ill patients - this is his case," Tkachenko stated.

He officially promised to appeal to law enforcement agencies to investigate the violations.
