The American news agency Associated Press (AP) stated that it received a video showing Russian soldiers shooting Ukrainian prisoners.

The incident occurred on March 13 in the area of Pyatykhatky, in the Zaporizhzhya region of Ukraine.

The video shows Ukrainian soldiers coming out of a destroyed building at gunpoint. One of the prisoners walks out with hands raised, after which they all lie face down on the ground. Then the Russian soldiers open fire, killing the prisoners.

This video caused a wide public outcry and drew attention to the issues of compliance with international norms and laws concerning war crimes.
