Russia may be planning an offensive on the Chernihiv region, reports "RBC-Ukraine" citing its sources.

«The Defence Forces consider the possibility of an enemy offensive toward the Chernihiv region, but believe this scenario is unlikely due to "unfavorable geographical conditions"», – writes the publication.

The publication notes that a Russian offensive is mainly expected in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.
