The court has temporarily suspended the decision of the Kyiv City Council to increase the powers of Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko.
This was reported on the social network X by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA), Tymur Tkachenko.
The message also states that Tkachenko independently initiated the lawsuit in court. Currently, the court is analyzing the legality of the Kyiv City Council’s decision.
Let us recall that at the beginning of April, the Kyiv City Council made a decision according to which the KCMA can exercise its powers only with the mayor’s signature during martial law. At the beginning of March, this draft decision was initiated by Klychko.
Following this, Tkachenko noted in his Telegram channel that Klychko is attempting to deprive the KCMA of the right to make decisions.
