The Verkhovna Rada will extend martial law and mobilization in Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine plans to extend martial law and mobilization from April 16 to 18.

This was reported by Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

The current martial law in Ukraine is in effect until May 9. If it were to be lifted, it would pave the way for elections in the country. The issue of extending the martial law regime and mobilization will be decided in the coming days in parliament.
