UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, following the Russian missile strike on civilians in Sumy, stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin must agree to an immediate and unconditional ceasefire.

Starmer wrote about this on the social network X.

The head of the UK government noted that he was shocked by the horrific Russian attacks on the civilian population in Sumy.

"My thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones during this tragic time. President Zelensky has demonstrated his commitment to peace. Now Putin must agree to an immediate and unconditional ceasefire," Starmer asserted.
