Kharkiv continues to tally the consequences of the morning attack: the number of civilian casualties has already risen to 98, reported Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

According to him, Russian forces launched another massive strike on the city around 5:00 AM. The main impact was on residential areas and civilian infrastructure, with several apartment buildings, shops, and medical facilities being affected.

«This was one of the most massive strikes in recent weeks. Rescue workers, utility services, and medical personnel are working at the locations of the attacks. We are doing everything possible to assist the victims and promptly mitigate the aftermath of the strike», — Terekhov stated.

Among the injured are children, elderly individuals, and utility service workers. Many of them are in hospitals in moderate condition. Medical staff are working in intensified mode.

There are also reports of serious damage to residential infrastructure. Some buildings are without electricity and heat. Assistance points have been set up in the city for evacuated residents.
