In Reserve+, two new types of deferments will be added, - Ministry of Defence

In the near future, two new types of deferment are expected to appear in the mobile application for conscripts, "Reserve+". Additionally, in the summer of 2025, there will be an opportunity to pay fines for violations of military registration rules with a 50% discount.

This statement was made in a televised marathon by the Deputy Minister of Defence for Digitalization, Kateryna Chernohorenko. The innovations are planned to be implemented by May 8, 2025.

"We plan to launch two new types of deferment by May 8, 2025. The first will relate to individuals with temporary unfitness for service for a period of 6 to 12 months. This is one of the sensitive requests we have received. Such deferment is granted based on the conclusion of a military medical commission. The second type will be for citizens whose spouse is in the service and who also have a child under the age of 18," stated Chernohorenko.

The official emphasized that long waiting in lines, waiting behind closed doors, and weeks of waiting for application processing is extremely inconvenient.

"Therefore, the main goal is to transition the deferment application process to a convenient online format, accessible in two clicks," explained Chernohorenko.

Additionally, according to her, it will be possible to submit a fine payment application directly in "Reserve+", receive a resolution, and make payments using the provided details directly in the app.

"You will immediately receive confirmation of no violation," concluded Chernohorenko.
