Ukrainian universities conduct an "intensive check" of graduate students who are trying to avoid mobilization

An active verification of graduate students who enrolled in educational institutions to avoid mobilization is ongoing in Ukraine.

This was reported by Deputy Minister of Education Mykhailo Vinnytskyi.

According to him, in the years 2022-23, many applicants chose postgraduate studies as a way to evade military service, and now they are being identified by not meeting academic requirements. Currently, 3,000 graduate students who enrolled after the start of the war have already been expelled, and it is expected that the number of expelled will increase this summer.
