Voluntary return of servicemen who left the military unit unauthorized may be extended until the end of August — Friz

The Defence Committee of the Council proposes to extend the voluntary return period from going AWOL until August 30, member of the committee Iryna Friz reported.

The corresponding bill was approved for adoption.

The document also stipulates that servicemen who have returned to their units can continue their service by the commander’s decision, even if a criminal case is opened against them.

Let us remind you that the previous deadline for voluntary return from going AWOL without consequences expired on March 1.
