The wife of Shmyhal "showed off" an undeclared Range Rover worth $85,000 — media

Journalists discovered that the wife of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Kateryna, owns a premium class car that is not listed in her husband’s declaration.

This is stated in the investigation by "Slidstvo.Info"

Journalists found that the 2022 Range Rover Sport exceeded the speed limit three times near the residence of the Prime Minister’s family in Lviv.

They also recorded this car parked in the courtyard of Denys Shmyhal’s family.

The car is registered to Kateryna Shmyhal’s newly established company "KADiS UA".

Last year, this Range Rover was sold for 84,500 USD.

The newly established company is reflected in the Prime Minister’s declaration, but the car registered to it is not. According to Shmyhal’s declaration, the couple does not own any other car.

Antonina Volkotrub, an analyst at the Anti-Corruption Center, told journalists that in this case, the car should be shown in the declaration.

The Shmyhal family did not respond to journalists’ questions about the undeclared car.
