The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the preventive measure in the form of detention with the possibility of posting a bail of 75.7 million UAH for Member of Parliament Viktor Bondar.

This was reported by the court’s press service.

“The Appeals Chamber of the HACC reviewed the defense’s appeal against the ruling of the HACC investigating judge dated 08.04.2025 regarding the extension of the preventive measure for a Member of Parliament of Ukraine in the form of detention with the alternative of posting a bail of 75.7 million UAH. As a result of the review, the panel of judges of the Appeals Chamber of the HACC left the defense’s appeal unsatisfied, and the ruling of the HACC investigating judge unchanged,” the statement says.

The court emphasized that the decision came into legal force upon announcement and is not subject to cassation appeal.

It is noted that the Member of Parliament is accused of organizing the embezzlement of funds from JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" amounting to over 140 million UAH during product procurement.
