
The person detained the day before for the attack on activist and volunteer Serhiy Sternenko was notified of suspicion of treason and attempted murder. On May 2, a preventive measure is to be chosen for her.
This was reported by "Suspilne" with reference to the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
"Under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General, the citizen was notified of suspicion of treason and attempted murder of a well-known volunteer (part 2 of article 111, article 15, clauses 6, 11, 12 part 2 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)."
On May 2, the Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kyiv will consider the motion to choose a preventive measure for the suspect.
The woman who attacked Sternenko was born in 1979, she is from the Odesa region, but lived and was registered in Kyiv.
The suspect rented an apartment in a residential complex in Kyiv where the public activist lives, and monitored him visually. She received money for the attempted attack from Russian special services into her bank accounts.
