Germany has delivered a new military aid package to Ukraine

Germany continues to provide Ukraine with weapons and equipment from its own reserves and by financing industrial deliveries. In total, approximately 28 billion euros of military aid has already been allocated or planned.

The new package includes both the transfer of equipment from the Bundeswehr’s arsenals and the financing of deliveries by manufacturers through the state budget. This was reported on the German Chancellor’s website.

The new German aid package will include:

For security reasons, the federal government has refrained from providing additional details, especially regarding the conditions and terms of deliveries until the transfer is complete.

Additionally, Germany is preparing to deliver four IRIS-T air defence systems (SLM/SLS), IRIS-T SLM/SLS missiles, Patriot missiles, 120 IGLA anti-aircraft missiles, 316 VECTOR reconnaissance drones, 30 RQ-35 HEIDRUN reconnaissance drones, and 1,100 ground surveillance radars.
